Pinckneyville, Illinois - The
American Thresherman Association (ATA) was origanized in March of 1959.
The following people attended the first organizational meeting on October
15, 1959 at Brownstone, Illinois which led to the creation of the ATA.
Between 1959 and 1961 very little info could be found for the beginning
years. In 1962 at the annual meeting Amos Rixman commented that the Association
"organized 3 years ago this month for the purpose of furnishing some enjoyment
to its members and to be the beginning of something very worthwhile." Already
in its brief life the Association had earned such a reputation that three
towns vied for the chance to become the permanent site for the show. The
Pinckneyville Chamber of Commerce invited the ATA with open arms and pledges
of support. Pinckneyville was chosen over Mascoutah and Highland for the
1962 show site.

Randolph
County Antique Club, Inc
-
The Randolph County Antique
Club Inc. started out as a group of very diverse individuals, all with
a common intrest, that being old farm machinery. As gatherings were held
at different peoples houses more and more people became interested and
the size of the group continued to grow. Although not organized, it was
easy to see the forming of a tight knit group of people who derived great
joy from fellowship and "playing" with old "Big Boys Toys". This group
came to be known as The Randolph County Antique Farm Machinery Club.
The "club" itself was officially organized in December of 1998 and the
name changed to the present one to encourage more intrest from all areas
such as horses, cars, trucks and the like. We formally incorporated in
Feb. 2000 and are in the process of filing for nonprofit status.
Much hard work lies ahead, but with the help of many people we hope to
leave a legacy about the past that will be enjoyed and cherished by generations
to come.

north of Jacksonville, Fla., just off I-95 in Woodbine, Ga.
We are newly formed and really enjoy these old tractors. On
April 28, 2001 we will be participating in the 'Woodbine Crawfish Festival'
parade and would like to invite anyone, within driving distance, to join
us with their tractor(s). We hope to have a large number of tractors
in the parade, and we will have an area to park and show our tractors after
the parade.

Antique Power Club....

is in its 4th year and growing.
We are located in York County, South Carolina. Our members boast
a wide assortment of tractors and engines. From a "2'27 Fordson to John
Deeres, Cases, and Farmalls. Many Hit-n-Miss engines as well as some very
unusual items. Ever seen a gas powered skill saw or a weed wacker powered
potato cart? We hold meetings each month as well as club "mini shows" around
the county. We also host the McConnells Engine, Tractor, and Craft Show
each April.
